Breaking Agreements
Before getting started with the next restoration exercise, take a few minutes to clarify your understanding of how to break agreements.
In the video and on Page 3 of your Restoration Guide, you learned the prayer to use to break any agreements that you have made in your life.
The prayer goes like this, “In the name and authority of Jesus I break agreement that [your agreement here] and I command it to the throne for judgement. I replace it with the truth that [what the Holy Spirit tells you here].”
What are the truths that you may hear from the Holy Spirit to replace the agreement? On the following image, click on each marker to read examples of this prayer:
In the name and authority of Jesus, I break the agreement that my sin makes me unworthy to receive the love of Jesus and I command that lie from the enemy to the throne for judgement in Jesus’ name. I replace it with the truth that His love covers a multitude of sin, and when I confess my sin, He is faithful and just to forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.
In the name and authority of Jesus, I break the agreement that I’ll always mess up my relationships and I command that lie from the enemy to the throne for judgement in Jesus’ name. I replace it with the truth that Jesus is teaching me how to correctly function in relationships as I follow his example.
In the name and authority of Jesus, I break the agreement that I will always be an addict and I command that lie from the enemy to the throne for judgement in Jesus’ name. I replace it with the truth that ‘Who the Son sets free is free indeed’ (Jn 8:36)
In the name and authority of Jesus, I break the agreement that I don’t belong anywhere and I command that lie from the enemy to the throne for judgement in Jesus’ name. I replace it with the truth that Jesus accepts me as I am and will lead me to people that will allow me to be myself.
In the name and authority of Jesus, I break the agreement that my family is better off without me and I command that lie from the enemy to the throne for judgement in Jesus’ name. I replace it with the truth that God has placed me in a family that needs me and what I have to offer.

There is a list of sins the enemy has access to you through. Mark the box for any thing you have struggled with past or present, and check the line for anything in your family line you have observed. We’ll take about 15-20 minutes to do this.
